I sent the email below to the address on the Studio Artists website (info@santabarbarastuidoartists.com) but it was returned to me as undeliverable. So I thought I would put my message here since time is of the essence.

    Hello,

My name is Julie Vanderwilt, and I’m a mosaic and stained glass artist here in Santa Barbara. I would very much like to be a part of the August 2011 Open Studio tour. As I printed out the application this morning, I saw that to be a part of the tour, I must be registered and accepted by March 31st!

So I would like to do whatever is necessary to fulfill the obligations for joining the Santa Barbara Studio Artists group by Thursday! I have a dedicated studio and am attaching a picture. I’m also attaching pictures of my work.

Thank you so much for considering me. My studio is ready for a visit whenever a board member would like to visit.

Thank you for your comment to our Blog. There is a March 31st deadline, which is driven by all the promotion and related efforts that lead up to our Tour. Also, I believe there is a waiting list as to new members. I will pass you inquiry along to Kriss Buck our Board member with membership responsibility. She will be able to answer your question in more detail.
